Wellness is about seriously taking care of your mental, physical and spiritual health, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Are you doing that? Here are 3 tips to improve your wellness. –

Exercise Regularly. Staying physically fit has numerous benefits, including boosting cardiovascular and muscular health and fighting disease. We recommended 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise each week, plus at least two days on which you do muscle-strengthening activities.

Eat Right. In addition to getting enough fruits, vegetables, and whole grains throughout the day, focus on protein in the morning. A diet with less red meat will lead to a host of benefits if you replace the calories with whole plant foods and you’ll dramatically decrease your risk of chronic diseases.

Maintain a Regular Sleep Schedule. Establish a regular bedtime and wake-up time, avoiding caffeine later in the day, turning off electronics before bedtime, setting boundaries around your media consumption, exercising regularly, avoiding naps and cutting out alcohol.

Please remember that when our cells don’t communicate well due to lack of nutrition in our foods, our poor diet, our busy and stressful lives, our immune health suffers but with the right kind of nourishment and support, your body can do amazing things!
